Job Boards vs. Reach Sourcing

So why do you need Reach if you already use Job Boards like Indeed? Job Boards are great at grabbing active applicants, meaning applicants who are already looking for a job, but what about those potential passive applicants who may not realize your company is the perfect fit for them? Those passive applicants may not even be looking for a new job.

This is where Reach comes in! By utilizing platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Google Search, you are able to get in front of candidates who may not have been looking for your company or position in the first place. Reach also utilizes custom AI-created personas reviewed by you to ensure your ads are targeted at the most qualified and ready-to-hire individuals. Using Reach

After being invited to the Reach platform and logging in, you will first select your Opening for your Reach campaign:

  1. Enter the URL or your Opening. This can be a Fountain Opening or a non-Fountain Opening URL.

  2. Type in a description of what your ideal candidate looks like. For example, you may type, “is confident working remotely, has strong customer service skills, and is open to working weekends and evenings”.

  3. Enter how many applicants you are looking for and the length of the campaign.

  4. Click Generate Profiles.

  5. Review the Intent Profiles generated by Reach AI. The suggested Profiles will be automatically selected but you can deselect and select other Profiles if desired. Click on any Profile to see more information.

  6. Click Create Campaign. You will be presented with a Campaign Summary including the duration, applicant count, and budget for each Ad Group.

  7. Click Launch Campaign. You will start seeing applicants within 3 hours of creating the campaign.

Reach Enhanced Application Landing Page

Fountain accounts that utilize Reach will also use a new enhanced application landing page that is more marketing-optimized, user-friendly, engaging, and accessible resulting in higher conversion rates. This landing page includes a hero banner image, round logo, job highlights section, and an always-visible apply button.

To add or edit these new fields, follow the steps below:

  1. Once logged into Fountain, click the Jobs tab in the top toolbar. Then click Positions in the dropdown.

  2. Click Add Position in the top right corner. You can also edit an existing position by clicking the Actions button to the left of the position name and then clicking Edit in the dropdown.

  3. Type a name for the position and then click Customize Application Form.

  4. Enter your job highlights in the Job at a Glance section. There are three highlight boxes by default but more can be added by clicking the +Add More button.

  5. Upload a cover image in the Cover Image box by clicking or dragging and dropping.

  6. Complete the rest of the screen as normal including entering a job description.

  7. The round logo is created from the Brand section of Company Settings. This is created from the square logo image. Learn more about Brand settings by reviewing this article.
