Add Jumio Stage to Workflow

  1. Choose Jumio Partner Stage to add the stage to your Opening's workflow. Check out the article on how to add a stage here.

  2. When an applicant lands on Jumio Partner Stage in the application workflow, they will be automatically redirected to Jumio's web portal.

  3. Once the relevant information is completed on Jumio portal, the applicant will automatically be redirected back to the Fountain's applicant portal.

Jumio Partner Stage Rule

You can create partner stage rules on applicants in the Jumio stage in the workflow editor. There are three statuses you can take action on: AcquisitionStatus, idScanStatus, and VerificationStatus. There are a few status values: Success, Done, Error not readable id, No id uploaded, Approved_verified, and Denied_fraud. Explanation of the status and their values are:

  • AcquisitionStatus indicates the status of the data acquisition

  • idScanStatus indicates the status of the ID submitted

  • VerificationStatus indicates final results from Jumio

  • Success indicates successful acquisition of the data or ID submission

  • Error not readable ID indicates an error in ID readability

  • No id uploaded indicates the applicant did not upload the ID

  • Approved_verified indicates an applicant passed the IDV screening from Jumio

  • Denied_fraud indicates an applicant failed the IDV screening from Jumio

A user can create a rule to move the applicant through the Fountain funnel. Below is an example of the Partner stage with rule in the Jumio partner stage:

Best Practice:

It is recommended to have a custom stage with rules to be set up after the Jumio stage. Since a background screening may take 1 to 5 minutes to complete, the custom stage with rules can hold the applicant until the final result has come back
