You can prevent applicants from applying more than once by updating your Duplicate Applicant Handling settings under Company Settings.
Under the 'Applicants' section, you'll see a few options in the Duplicate Applicant Handling dropdown:
- No restrictions - applicants can apply more than once to any position.
- Prevent existing applicants from applying again to their current position - applicants cannot apply more than once to any position.
- Prevent existing applicants from applying again to their company - applicants cannot apply to any other position listed in your Public Directory if they have already submitted an application to one.
Note: Fountain considers applicant profiles that share the same email OR same phone number OR both email and phone number as duplicates.
