Smart Sort helps you prioritize applicants, especially if you have a high volume of applicants to review. It is a prioritization tool you can use to view which applicants are moving the fastest through your funnel.

What's Covered

Smart Sort Calculation

The key insight used to measure Smart Sort is the applicant’s speed through the funnel (i.e. frequency of stage transitions and other interactions) as a predictor of whether they will eventually be approved or not. If their speed passes a favorable threshold, they are marked as a best match.

Disable Smart Sort

To disable Smart Sort, simply go to the Applicant portal and select the Sort button. Select Longest Idle Time or Most Recently Active instead of Smart Sort.

Applicants without Best Match label

Smart Sort does not imply that those without a Best Match label are unqualified candidates, and you should always review each applicant regardless of best match label or not.
