If you have the setting in your recurring check rule to "deactivate" if collection fails, the worker will be deactivated in Posthire if they do not satisfy the check, and will not receive additional emails.

If you have the setting in your recurring check rule to "do nothing" if collection fails, the worker will remain active in Posthire if they do not satisfy the check, and will receive a reminder email every 10 days for 3 months.

What's Covered?

Document Expiration Dates in the Past

If an applicant lands in the Posthire stage and is approved with a document that expired in the past, the recurring check rule will run and the check (verification) would be scheduled for the following day. The worker would then receive an email the following day to resubmit the requested information.

Recurring Data Collection Checks

You now have the ability to set your own frequency for the data collection messages and customize the amount of reminders you send, and when the messages are sent.

The number of days on your initial data collection message is what matters the most. That means that regardless of when the expiration date is (in the past, or below the number of days for the initial data collection message) the applicants will always have that amount of time to resubmit those documents. For example, if an applicant's document expires in 10 days, they will have the number of days indicated in the initial data collection message to upload that document.
Another example is if your applicants arrive in Posthire with an expiration date in the past, the applicant will have the number of days specified in the initial data collection message to upload.

In all cases, each applicant will receive every reminder message that is specified in the rule whether the applicants expiration is in the future or the past.
