User Role Email Notifications

Fountain allows Administrators to manage notifications at the user role level. Email notifications can be sent to users when an applicant lands in a stage, when a Hiring Goal is created, or when a Hiring Goal is updated.

Managing Notifications

To manage notifications, follow the steps below after the feature is enabled in your account:

  1. Click your initial icon in the top right corner. Then click Company Settings in the dropdown.

  2. Click User Roles in the top left corner under General settings.

  3. Click Actions to the left of the user role you want to manage notifications for.

  4. Click Manage Notifications in the dropdown.

  5. Turn on the appropriate toggle(s).

  6. For the Applicants land on a stage toggle, you will also need to select the stages to target by clicking the Edit link.

Applicant lands in stage

Users will be notified when an applicant lands in any stage selected via Company Settings.

The email will include the stage name, applicant name, and brand. Users can click the link in the email to be brought to the Applicant's Profile to take action.

If the user does not have access to the Opening or a particular Opening’s selected stage, they will not receive a notification.

Hiring Goal created

Users will be notified when a Hiring Goal is created for any Opening they have access to.

The email will include the Hiring Goal number, start date, end date, status (filled or unfilled), location, position, and brand. Users can click the link in the email to be brought to the Applicant Table for that Opening.

Hiring Goal updated

Users will be notified when Hiring Goal is updated for any Opening they have access to. This includes updating the start date, end date, or Hiring Goal number.

The email will include the Hiring Goal number, start date, end date, status (filled or unfilled), location, position, and brand. Users can click the link in the email to be brought to the Applicant Table for that Opening.
