Scorecards are a handy way for teams to qualitatively evaluate applicant through numerical scoring. In addition, you can also add comments to your score. For example, you can build a Scorecard to record their technical skill level, assess their job fit, and more!
Create Scorecards
To create a Scorecard, follow the steps below:
Click your initials in the top right of any Fountain screen. Click Company Settings then Scorecards under App Settings on the left-hand side.
Click New Scorecard.
Choose between a Weighted, Unweighted, or Comments Only Scorecard. Weighted Scorecards give different importance to each question, while Unweighted Scorecards give each question the same importance. The Comments Only Scorecard does not give a score to any question.
Type a name for your Scorecard. Be descriptive for future use.
Click Add question to create the questions for your Scorecard.
Click Save Scorecard. You can now use this Scorecard for any applicant in any Opening.
Edit Scorecards
To edit a Scorecard, follow the steps below:
Click your initials in the top right of any Fountain screen. Click Company Settings then Scorecards under App Settings on the left-hand side.
Click Actions to the left of the Scorecard you want to manage. Click Edit.
Make the desired edits. Click Save Scorecard.
Delete Scorecards
To delete a Scorecard, follow the steps below:
Click your initials on the top right of any Fountain screen. Select Company Settings then Scorecards under App Settings on the left-hand side.
Click Actions to the left of the Scorecard you want to manage. Click Delete.
Click Ok.
Important Warning:
If you delete a Scorecard, every applicant's score associated with that Scorecard will also be deleted.
Use Scorecards in Applicant Table
The most common way to complete Scorecards is on the Applicant Table while you are evaluating an applicant.
Navigate to the Applicant Table of the Opening you want to complete Scorecards for.
Click the three dots to the left of the applicant you want to complete a Scorecard for.
Click Score Applicant.
Select a Scorecard to score the applicant on. Click Score.
Complete the Scorecard by selecting a number from 1 (worst) to 5 (best). Notes are optional.
Click Save and the score will be saved to the applicant's Profile as an exportable field.
The applicant's overall score can be found in the Status section of their Applicant Profile. Click the Scorecard Status Label to view and edit the details of the score for each question.
