How Spring Works
The marketplace provides a unique e-commerce experience where users can shop and purchase job postings. Users can buy job postings from thousands of media channels globally. These include job boards, niche and industry sites, diversity sites, social media platforms, and programmatic channels. When you create a sponsored job posting for Spring, you will decide which job boards to post on and will set a budget for the duration of the post. During this set timeframe, Spring will:
Publish your job on the selected job boards
Sponsor your job on job boards from your allocated budget
Automatically add newly applied candidates to your Opening
Attribute the candidate to the job board where they applied for analysis
Important Note:
Spring uses a standard application form, which does not include the additional questions you may have added to the custom application form for your Opening. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or [email protected] for details.
The effectiveness of Spring and the quality of the applicants is based on a variety of factors, including:
Location of job and demand for such work in that area.
Job Descriptions: Job descriptions should be detailed but concise. Include information such as job requirements, location, shift schedules, pay rate, benefits, and details about the company that is hiring. Use proper formatting and avoid spelling mistakes or copy errors.
Budget: higher budgets lead to higher bids on job boards, which convert to more views, more clicks, and more applications. Users have the option to post to a single site, make individual payments for selected boards, or utilize pre-selected bundles.
Posting Title: the posting title should reflect the title of the role for which you are hiring. Avoid lengthy titles with unnecessary information and clickbait.
Candidate Density: Spring success is dependent upon the volume and interest level of prospective candidates in the job’s area, which can vary by season and can be based on the factors listed above.

Some fields may auto-populate based on the Opening details. However, you can adjust them if desired.
Click Next: Media Mix Recommendation.
Click on your preferred Channel tile to select it. Recommended channels will be listed towards the top. However, you can change the Sort By field if you would rather see channels based on relevancy or price. You can also choose to add Free-Ad on channels or premium channels on this screen.

Update all target group fields.

Click Next: Order Review.

Click Next: Choose Your Payment Method.

Click Order Campaign. Most campaigns will be live in 4 to 6 hours, but the formal SLA commits to delivering the job within 24 hours of it being ordered due to variance among job sites.
Important Notes:
Spring will reach out to the Fountain customer directly to confirm details before ultimately posting to mirror the process the customer would go through if they posted themselves on the respective board directly.
To go back at any time during the campaign creation process, click the Previous button in the bottom left corner of the screen you are currently completing.
Throughout the campaign creation process, in the top right corner, you will see your account balance and the estimated cost of the current order.
Managing Spring Campaigns
To manage your Spring campaigns, click Sourcing at the top of any Fountain page, then click Job Postings on the left. Your list of active campaigns will be listed on this screen. Spring job campaigns are identified with the Spring icon in the Type column. This icon is also visible by the applicant in the Applicant Table and Universal Applicant View.
On this screen, you can view the number of applicants you received from various job boards, as well as cancel your active Spring campaigns. To cancel a campaign, click on it in the list and then click the Cancel link.
Applicants who apply via a Spring job campaign can be identified by looking at the UTM source on the Applicant Table and in the details section of their Applicant Profile. This will display the individual job board on which the applicant applied for your Opening.
UTM_source will list the job board from which the applicant applied.
UTM_campaign will list Fountain Spring.
Important Notes:
Spring campaigns are not refundable. We recommend letting a Spring campaign expire naturally over the specified duration because the campaign is paid for up-front and will not be refunded.
Spring campaign edits will not be applied to active listings on Job Boards. If you want the edits to be included on active job boards, you will have to cancel and redo your campaign. For assistance, contact your CSM or [email protected].
Spring campaign cancellations take up to 24 hours. Once you cancel a campaign, it can take up to 24 hours to remove the job listing from job boards.
