To comply with consumer protection regulations on SMS and emails, applicants can unsubscribe and resubscribe from SMS or email from your company at any time by texting "STOP" or clicking on the "unsubscribe" button in the emails.
On the Applicant Table or Universal Application View you'll see the error envelope icon next to applicants who have unsubscribed from email and the following if the applicant has unsubscribed from SMS.
When an applicant unsubscribes from SMS, they are given a confirmation text message and can resubscribe to SMS by replying 'START', 'UNSTOP', 'JOIN', 'BEGIN', or 'RESUME' to the most recent SMS conversation with Fountain, to which they responded 'STOP.'
If an applicant would like to be resubscribed to email messages, the applicant should locate the email from which they unsubscribed and click the unsubscribe link once more to update their communication preferences.
Fountain personnel are unable to unsubscribe or resubscribe applicants to communications due to federal regulations.
