Hire Go - Hiring Manager Account Setup

Once you are invited to Hire Go, you can log in on any device, including mobile, via a web browser. You will log in via the go.fountain.com website or through SSO. For companies using SSO, Administrators will provide the steps on how to access through your company’s SSO provider.

After login, you'll be prompted to set up your initial interview availability and optionally connect your external calendar. Availability and your connected calendar can be updated later. You'll also be able to customize notifications related to interviews and other Opening-specific interview details, and your language preference.


Initial Login

To log in via the website, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Accept Invitation button in the email invitation from Hire Go. You will be prompted to create a password the first time you log in.

    • After initial login, you can access Hire Go from any web browser by going to go.fountain.com/yourcompanysname. Simply log in with your email and password.


Setting Initial Interview Availability

The first time you log in, you will also be asked to confirm your timezone and provide your availability for interviews. Use the toggles to select which days you are available. Type in the boxes to find the start and end times for your availability.

  • When candidates are approved to enter the interview stage, they are prompted to choose a time slot for an interview with the Hiring Manager. The availability you set here dictates the time windows candidates will see as options. For instance, if you choose “Mondays from 9-9:30 am”, candidates will ONLY be able to schedule interviews with you during that half hour.

  • Fountain suggests choosing time windows that you’ll be consistently able to maintain each week (e.g. “Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am-1 pm”) so you can organize your schedule around those hiring times.

  • If you do not set initial availability, you won’t be able to activate Openings!

Click Continue when finished.

Connecting External Calendar

Next, you'll be prompted to connect your external calendar to the Hire Go calendar. Connecting your third-party external calendar is optional but recommended because it can help prevent double-booking yourself with interviews and external calendar events.

Apple iCloud, Google, Office 365, Exchange, and Outlook.com calendars can be integrated into Hire Go. Once the calendar is properly integrated and set up per your preferences, your sessions will be available on your external email calendar.

Follow the steps below to connect your external calendar:

  1. Click Connect calendar.

  2. Choose your external calendar provider.

  3. Check the box to agree to the Cronofy Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  4. Click Link ___ account.

  5. Enter your external email credentials.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. Click Finish. You will receive an email confirmation once the connection is complete.

Hire Go will automatically adjust your interview availability based on events from your connected calendar. Time slots with scheduling conflicts are blocked from applicants, which helps prevent double bookings and ensures you have accurate availability.

Additionally, Hire Go syncs scheduled and canceled interviews with your connected third-party calendar, ensuring your calendar always reflects the latest booked interviews.

Important Note:
To disconnect your external calendar, click the trash can icon in the Connected calendars section of the Availability page.


Email and SMS Notifications

Fountain wants to ensure you don’t miss an upcoming interview or required actions! For this reason, email notifications are turned on by default. You will also have the option to turn on SMS notifications in addition to email notifications. SMS notifications are turned off by default.

You can be notified:

  • When an interview is starting in 10 minutes

  • When someone books an interview with you

  • When you have a new SMS message from an applicant

  • When someone completes a video interview

  • When a new applicant is ready to review

Simply check the box to the left of the notification to turn it on or uncheck it to turn it off. Click Save when finished.

For SMS notifications, you will also be required to enter your cell phone number.

Important Notes:

  • After initial account setup, notifications can be adjusted via the Hire Go Settings page.

  • Notifications are sent to users who are listed as an interview Host on an Opening. If there's no Host set for an Opening, notifications will be sent to the Opening owner instead.


Language Preferences

Finally, at the bottom of the Settings page, you can change your language preferences.

Are you also using Fountain Hire? Your language preferences can be updated in either system, and it will be saved for both platforms!

After initial account setup, language preferences can be updated via the Hire Go Settings page.
