Manage sourcing automations and configure channels from the Source Settings page.
Access Source Settings
Click Source in the left navigation menu.
Click Settings in the Source navigation menu.
The Source Settings page has two tabs: Automation and Channel Enablement.
Automation Settings
The Automation tab provides centralized control over three types of automations that pause sourcing campaigns automatically based on pipeline, hiring goal, and budget conditions.
Funnel Automations: Automatically pause tracking when the opening is on track to hit its hiring goal based on current funnel performance
Hiring Automations: Automatically pause campaigns when the hiring goal period ends
Budget Automations: Automatically pause campaigns when budget alerts and automatic pauses when you reach your target budget
Toggle each automation type on or off based on your preferences.
How global settings work:
When you enable an automation globally, it applies to all openings by default.
Individual openings can still override global settings if needed.
Disabling an automation globally turns it off for all openings.
Maximize spend efficiency
It's recommended to enable all three automation types for maximum spend efficiency. If you prefer manual control over campaign pausing, you can disable specific automation types.
Budget Warnings and Auto-Pause
Source monitors your campaign budgets and provides warnings when you're approaching spending limits. When Budget Automation is enabled, campaigns can automatically pause to prevent overspending.
80% Budget Warning
When your total spend reaches 80% of your target budget, Source displays a warning banner at the top of the Opening Details page:
"Approaching Budget Limit: You've used 80% of your target budget. Campaigns will auto-pause when the limit is reached. Update budget to continue hiring."
This early warning gives you time to:
Review campaign performance
Decide whether to increase the budget
Evaluate whether you're on track to meet hiring goals
100% Auto-Pause (Integrated Channels)
When your total spend reaches 100% of your target budget:
Integrated channels (Indeed, Joveo, Talroo) automatically pause
You receive a notification that campaigns have been paused
Non-pausable channels (ZipRecruiter, Boost) continue running until their campaign period ends
Non-integrated channels display a banner prompting you to pause manually
Auto-Resume When Budget Increases
If you increase your target budget after campaigns have been paused:
Previously paused integrated campaigns automatically resume
No manual action required to restart the campaigns
Campaigns resume with their previous settings intact

Channel Enablement Settings
The Channel Enablement tab in Source Settings is where you configure which sourcing channels are active for your account and set up non-integrated channel tracking.
Access Channel Enablement Settings
Click Source in the left navigation menu.
Click Settings in the Source navigation menu.
Click the Channel Enablement tab.
The Channel Enablement page is divided into three sections: Integrated channels, Non-integrated channels, and Unmapped UTM sources.
Integrated Channels
The Integrated channels section lists all sourcing channels that Source supports for direct posting, spend tracking, and campaign management. Each row shows the channel name, its current status, and an action to activate or deactivate it.
Activated channels are available for posting and appear in your campaign reporting.
Not activated channels are visible but inactive. Click Activate to enable them for your account.
Non-Integrated Channels
The Non-integrated channels section lists all channels you have configured for tracking applicants who arrive through UTM-tagged links, such as LinkedIn, Google, or other job boards where you post directly without a Source integration.
If no non-integrated channels have been configured yet, the section displays an empty state: "No channels configured yet..."
Once channels are configured, each row in the table shows the channel name, applicants attributed, UTM sources mapped to the channel, and Manage / delete actions.
For instructions on adding and mapping non-integrated channels, see Map Non-Integrated Application Channels in Source.
Unmapped UTM Sources
The Unmapped UTM sources section displays UTM source values that have been detected from incoming applicant traffic but have not yet been assigned to a channel.
These applicants currently appear under "Other" in your campaign reporting.
UTM sources not appearing
If you don't see a UTM source you expect, it may not have received any applicants yet. UTM sources only appear here once at least one applicant has arrived through that source.
Map these sources to channels to move their applicants out of "Other" and into named channel reporting. See Map Non-Integrated Application Channels in Source for instructions.
