The Pool dashboard is the page Pool opens on. It shows how your outreach is performing and which campaigns are running, so you can see where to start before you open the Campaigns or Talent pages.
Open the Dashboard
Click Pool in the left side panel and the dashboard opens. To return to it from another Pool page, click Dashboard in Pool navigation.
Every user with access to Pool sees the dashboard.
Read the Reach & Engagement Funnel
The Reach & Engagement Funnel shows how many people your outreach reached and how they moved through each stage. Choose Email or SMS from the channel dropdown to see that channel's stages.
Email — Recipients, Sent, Delivered, Opened, and Clicked.
SMS — Recipients, Sent, and Delivered.
Each stage shows its count, how it compares with the prior period (vs. prior period), and its share of the stage before it, shown as a percentage of that stage.
The funnel reports concrete counts only. It does not estimate or project figures.
Choose a Date Range
Use the date control to choose the period the funnel reports on. Pick a preset, or choose Custom and select the start and end dates in the range picker. Each stage's comparison is against the prior period.
Find Where the Funnel Drops
Read the funnel from top to bottom and look for the stage where the percentage of the previous stage falls. Where the drop sits tells you which problem you have.
Reach is low. Not enough outreach is going out. Check how many campaigns are active and how large their audiences are.
Reach is healthy but a later stage converts poorly. Outreach is going out but not converting. Review the message content and the audience it targets.
Review Active Campaigns
The Active campaigns widget lists your active campaigns. Each campaign card shows Recipients, Open rate, Click rate, and a Send dates chart of its send activity. Use it to confirm that a campaign is sending, and to spot a campaign whose engagement is flat, without opening the Campaigns page.
To narrow the list, use the Delivery and Category filters, which show All by default, or type in Search by campaign name.
To mark a campaign as complete, open the three-dot menu on its card and select Mark as complete.
Open a campaign from the widget to see its full results. For what each campaign metric counts, see Read Pool Campaign Performance.
Check What a Metric Means
Hover over any metric on the dashboard to see its definition. Every metric carries its own tooltip, so a figure such as open rate means the same thing to everyone reading the page.
Understand an Empty Dashboard
The widgets need campaign activity and audience membership to show data. With no campaigns and no talent, they show an empty state instead.
To start filling the dashboard, build an audience and activate a campaign. See Build and Manage Pool Audiences and Create & Manage Pool Campaigns.
Know Where Detailed Analysis Lives
The dashboard is an orientation view. Detailed analysis stays on the Campaigns and Talent pages.
Separate From the Pool Overview Analytics Dashboard
The Pool dashboard is a page inside Pool. Fountain Analytics has its own Pool Overview standard dashboard, which is where you download Pool data.
