With Hire Go, Hiring Managers are empowered to own their hiring needs!
With Hire Go you can:
Activate new Openings in seconds from your phone, tablet, or computer using a simple, AI-powered chatbot
Set and manage your recurring interview availability, allowing candidates to automatically book time with you
Coordinate and communicate directly with candidates via SMS

All without ever needing to log in to the Fountain Hire platform!
Important Note:
In order for Hire Go to work successfully, there are setup steps and considerations that must be discussed between account Administrators and the Fountain implementation team. Account Administrators should review this article for more information. This article will focus on the Hiring Manager experience only.
Logging In
Once users are invited to Hire Go, they can log in on any device including mobile via a web browser. Users will log in via the go.fountain.com website or through SSO. For companies using SSO, Administrators will provide the steps on how to access through the company’s SSO provider.
To log in via the website, follow the steps below:
Click the Accept Invitation button in the email invitation from Hire Go. You will be prompted to create a password the first time you log in.
After initial login, you can access Hire Go from any web browser by going to go.fountain.com/yourcompanysname. Simply log in with your email and password.
The first time you log in, you will also be asked to confirm your timezone and provide your availability for interviews. Use the toggles to select which days you are available. Type in the boxes to find the start and end times for your availability.
When candidates are approved to enter the interview stage, they are prompted to choose a time slot for an interview with the Hiring Manager. The availability you set here dictates the time windows candidates will see as options. For instance, if you choose “Mondays from 9-9:30 am”, candidates will ONLY be able to schedule interviews with you during that half hour.
Fountain suggests choosing time windows that you’ll be consistently able to maintain each week (e.g. “Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am-1 pm”) so you can organize your schedule around those hiring times.
You can change your availability later via the Availability screen.
If you do not set initial availability, you won’t be able to activate Openings!
Click Continue.
After clicking Continue, you will be brought to the Hire Go Home screen. Once Openings are active and applicants begin applying, this is where you will quickly review applicants that require action or interviews that are occurring that day.
Launching Openings
Activating job Openings in Hire Go is easy!
Navigate to the Openings screen and click Start Hiring to the right of the Opening you want to activate.
If using on mobile, click the 3 dots button and then Start Hiring.
If you have a long list of Openings, use the search at the top.
Don’t see the Opening you need to activate? Contact an Administrator at your company for assistance.
Answer the AI assistant prompts including how many people you need to hire, the pay range, and whether the role is part-time or full-time.
When answering the questions, remember you can be conversational. Don’t worry about misspellings, abbreviations, or making mistakes. You can always ask the assistant to make changes before submitting.
At the end of the questions, you will be asked to review the collected information before clicking Approve and Start Hiring. Once the request is submitted, the Opening will be activated and applicants will begin applying for the Opening.
To update the Hiring Target after initial activation, click the 3 dots button to the right of the Opening’s name on the Opening screen and then click Update hiring target. Here you can adjust the target up or down. Then click Save changes.
If you accidentally activate an Opening, simply update the Hiring Target to zero to de-activate it.
Actioning Applicants
You can take action on applicants in two places within Hire Go - from the homepage or from a specific Opening’s page.
Through Homepage
To take action from the homepage, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Home page and click the Review applicants button.
Any applicants that require action will be listed in chronological order based on which stage they are in in the hiring workflow. This list will only include stages that are go-enabled.
Click on the applicant’s name or View applicant details to open their Applicant Profile. Here you can review the applicant’s details such as their answers to screening questions, any uploaded documents like a resume, and leave an internal-only note that is not visible to the applicant. You can also click Review to immediately take action based on the stage the applicant is in.
To message the applicant, click the Messages tab in their profile and type in the box.
If the applicant has unsubscribed from text messages, this box will be grayed out.
Email communication is not supported at this time.
To take action, click the following buttons:
Click Review to take action based on the stage type. Scheduler stages will require you to provide interview feedback. Review stages may require you to select answers before advancing forward.
Click Advance to move the applicant forward to the next stage.
Click Reject to reject the applicant
To see all upcoming interviews, on the Hire Go homescreen, click the View all link in the My Interviews box. This will show all upcoming interviews.
After the interview, you will provide feedback by clicking the Review button under Action Items or within the applicant's profile, marking attendance, leaving an optional internal note, and advancing or rejecting the candidate.
Through Specific Opening’s page
To take action from a specific Opening’s page, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Openings page and find the Opening that has applicants you want to action. Use the search if necessary.
You can also use the filter button to search for specific Openings based on location or whether the Opening is active.
Click the name of the Opening to open the details for that Opening.
The Overview tab will show information on the Opening's Hiring Target and any required actions for the Hiring Manager listed in chronological order based on the stages in the hiring workflow. This list will only require stages that are Hire Go enabled.
Click on an action item box to see the applicants within that stage and complete the required actions such as advancing the applicant.
Any interviews scheduled for today will also be listed on the Overview tab.
Click on the applicant’s name to open their Applicant Profile.
To see all interviews, click the Interviews tab. Here you’ll see a list of interviews today as well as a clickable calendar to view future or past scheduled interviews.
Additional Specific Opening’s Page Tabs
To see all applicants in the pipeline of this Opening, click the Applicants tab. This will show all applicants in go-enabled stages regardless if that stage is a stage that can be actioned by a Hiring Manager.
The Settings tab is where you’ll adjust interview settings for this specific Opening including the Hosts, Duration, number of attendees, and Instructions for the interview.
If there are multiple hosts added to an Opening’s interview settings, the combination of the host’s entered availability will be shown to applicants for interview slot selection.
Be sure to click Save after making any updates to the Interview tab.
Turning on Interview Notifications
Fountain wants to ensure you don’t miss an upcoming interview! To turn on email notifications, go to the Settings screen and click the Email box to expand. Check the boxes to turn on email notifications for interviews occurring in 10 minutes and after an interview time is booked by an applicant. Click Update Settings when finished.
Promoting Jobs on Indeed
Within Hire Go, you can choose to promote jobs on Indeed without ever needing to leave the Hire Go app. To promote jobs, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Opening’s page that you want to promote on Indeed then click the Promote button in the top right corner.
On the next screen, you'll be asked to confirm your Indeed account and log in.
Don’t know your company’s Indeed account information? Contact an Administrator at your company for assistance.
Need to create your own Indeed account? Review this Indeed support article.
Next, you'll set up the campaign details including the total spending amount, start and end dates, and spending rules. You can choose between a Fixed End date or a Target end date.
If you choose a Fixed End Date, your campaign will end on the selected end date, regardless of whether the full budget you've allocated to the campaign has been spent or not.
If you choose a Target End Date, Indeed will aim to spend the entire budget for the campaign, which may cause the campaign to run past the selected end date, if additional funding is still available.
On the next screen, you'll confirm the job details. Some of this information is pulled from the Hire Go Opening information but can be adjusted. Other details you'll need to complete.
Finally, you'll review the campaign before launching.
Once the campaign has launched, you can review details on the specific Opening's page as well as click the View on Indeed link to see more detailed analytics for this campaign via the Indeed website.
Updating Interview Availability
If you need to update your timezone or interview availability, you can do so via the Availability screen.
On this screen, you can update your name, timezone, and adjust availability. Click the + to the right of any day's availability to add another availability window. For example, if you can host interviews in the morning and afternoon but need to take an hour between for lunch, use the plus to break out the availability windows. Click the papers icon to copy the availability to another day or multiple days. Click the trashcan to remove previously entered availability.

Best Practices and Reminders
To get the most out of using Fountain Hire Go, follow the best practices below!
When requesting Openings in the Hire tab, remember you can be conversational. Don’t worry about misspellings or using abbreviations. The AI assistant will be able to decipher the intent of the chat.
Made a mistake when chatting with the AI Hire assistant? Simply ask to go back and provide the correct information.
Accidentally activate an Opening? Simply update the Hiring Target to zero to deactivate it.
Make sure to turn on email notifications so that you don’t miss an interview!
After activating an Opening, go to the Opening’s Settings tab to ensure you add interview instructions for your applicants including the interview location whether that is a physical address or a virtual interview link such as Zoom.
Going out of town and need someone to cover for your interviews? Update the Host also in the Opening’s Settings tab.
Use Hire Go’s texting feature rather than communicating with applicants via your own personal device texting. This will hide your phone number from applicants and instead route it through a previously configured number associated with your company’s account.
