Obtaining a DISA Account
In order to enable Fountain’s DISA integration, you will need to request an account by completing this form on their website. For questions, email [email protected].
The packages supported by Fountain are DISAScreen, D360, and DISAWorks.
Set up a DISA Integration
Reach out to your Fountain CSM or [email protected] to enable the partner in your account. Once DISA has been enabled, follow the steps below:
Contact DISA to request the relevant API Key and Account ID. Save these for use in Hire.
Within Fountain Hire, click on your initials icon in the top right corner. Then click Integrations in the dropdown.
Click on Screening in the left sidebar.
Click Connect to the right of DISA.
Type your DISA API Key.
Type your DISA Account ID
Click Save Changes.
Add a DISA Background Stage to a Workflow
To add the AssureHire stage to your Opening’s workflow, follow the steps below:
Access the Workflow Editor for your Opening. Click Add Stage in the top left corner. Then click Create New Stage in the dropdown.
Type a name for the stage, select DISA Partner Stage in the stage type dropdown, and choose the placement of the stage.
Click Add Stage.
In the DISA Integration section, choose the appropriate package for Stage Option Type in the dropdown.
Click Save Changes in the top right corner.
DISA Stage Rules
You can create stage rules for applicants in the DISA background check stage based on their status. Below is an example of a rule in the DISA partner stage:

The following statuses can be seen in the Applicant Table, Universal Applicant View, and Applicant Profile related to DISA package type:

To review the results report, click on the green DISA Status Label and then View Report. You will be prompted to log in via DISA's website.
